Camera Ready Cosmetics was founded in 2003 by Makeup Artist Mary Erickson (me). I have been a makeup artist in the San Diego/LA market for many years; you can view my portfolio here. As an artist and a consumer of professional makeup products, I recognized a need in the industry for a professional makeup store with reliable fast shipping and great customer service. For this reason, I envisioned a store where:

I try my best to carry every brand with a positive buzz surrounding it. I buy these products and try them all myself - if I like them, I carry them in my store, if I find they come up short for any reason you just won't find them here.

Unlike many stores I have a very high turnover of products and order from all the brands I carry every 7 to 14 days. This ensures you always receive fresh products rather than something that has been sitting on shelves for months. Every cream and liquid based product in my store has been in the store for less than 60 days so freshness is guaranteed!

I'd also like you to know that as a professional makeup artist, I know firsthand what busy artists need and I try my best to fill these needs by offering Camera (Photography, Video, TV and film) friendly makeup; all the latest in HD quality in easy to pack and use palettes. I pride myself on my policy of super fast shipping; when you need your products in 2 days, we will do our best to see that you get them in time for that important job.
